Boston Taylor

Boston is a delightful four-year-old who is full of life. He loves motorcycles, snakes, and his brother Carver. We often get asked about his name. “Is he named after the Red Sox?” Nope. We just fell in love with the name; it has character. If you are looking for character, look no farther than Boston--he is loaded with it. About Carver Landon

At two years old, Carver has developed a big personality. He is always on the move and ready for action. Carver is the quintessential red-head: fiery and sweet. He loves to collect worms and play with our massive dog, Jupiter. Christa

Christa is a committed wife and mother. Her greatest earthly joys are found in her family. She has her hands full with all her boys!

She has a special knack for reaching out to others. Whether you call it her outgoing nature or her fun-loving personality, it is clear that she has the gift of hospitality.

Christa, who was saved at the age of seven, had the privilege of working with her family to plant a church in North Carolina. She was also trained at BJU specializing in Children’s Ministries. She has been working alongside her husband in the local church ministry for the past seven years.

Christa loves to spend time with her best friend, Seph, play with her kids, and read historic fiction. Seph

Planting a church is a dream come true for Seph. He loves to study God’s Word, to preach and teach in the church, and spend time with God and His people. He is a self-starter, a natural leader, and articulate communicator. Toss all of that in with an stubborn commitment to God’s service and you’ll find a church planter. Seph believes he was made for this.

Shortly after his salvation in 1995, God called Seph to the ministry. He earned
a BA in Bible at Bob Jones University, and is currently working on a Master of Divinity. During his training, Seph completed an internship under the leadership of Pastor Lew Davis at Tri-County Baptist Church, in Cincinnati, OH. He also had the privilege of being the Youth Director at Northside Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jack Samargo.

Seph & Christa

Christa started it. She saw Seph and began her pursuit. But, when the opportunity presented itself Seph acted; he asked her out as soon as he met her. That was February 19, 1998. They have been dating ever since. On May 20, 2000, they were married.

Now, in their eighth year of marriage, this team faces a colossal task as they seek to do God’s will in Atlanta. Neither is adequate to do what God has called them to do. That is why they rest in the promise that God’s “strength is made perfect in weakness.”

the Coutinho Family Together

God has called Seph and Christa to join in the work of reseeding America with new and vibrant churches. The fastest growing metropolitan in the country, Atlanta, Georgia, is their target location to launch a church-planting movement. With over 5 million people now, and estimates topping 7 million in the next 15 years, Atlanta is a mission field that cannot be ignored and desperately needs more churches.

This couple, married May 20, 2000, has been faithfully working in local churches for many years. Suber Road Baptist is this couple’s sending church and vital partner in the work in Atlanta.

God has burdened the Coutinhos to dedicate their lives His service. That call required Seph to leave his career in banking to develop up a church-planting team for Christ’s sake. Seph and Christa are dedicated to delivering the saving Gospel of Christ to the unchurched, the poorly churched, and the used-to-be churched people of these needy United States of America.
Campbell Augustus

Campbell is our new little boy! Oh my, how sweet he is! If we knew all our children would be as good as this little tike, we would have dozons! ...Good thing we don’t know how good they are going to be!

Campbell is just now starting on solid food and is trying to crawl.
For the last 5 years, Seph worked at Suber Road Baptist Church by spearheading multiple outreach ministries and regularly preaching in the main services and adult Sunday school classes.

When he is not spending time with his family, doing something at church, working on his Masters degree, or putting things together for the church plant in Atlanta, you’ll find Seph working at Kingdom Insurance.
